Promoter Abtex Promotionz has responded to remarks made by singer Pallaso regarding fellow musician Ray G, questioning why the Western Uganda star has remained relatively quiet amid recent discussions surrounding his career and concert dealings.
Pallaso had reportedly positioned himself as a voice for Ray G, raising concerns about the singer’s quiet nature and asking what would happen if promoter Abtex had taken advantage of him.

However, Abtex pushed back against the suggestion, arguing that Ray G does not necessarily need to be outspoken because his music speaks for him.
“Who told you Ray G is much of a speaking person? For Ray G, it’s his music that speaks,” Abtex said during an interview.
The promoter also addressed Pallaso directly, explaining that organizing a concert is a business arrangement that comes with specific terms and conditions that must be agreed upon by both parties.
Abtex said that if he were to organize a concert for Pallaso, the singer would first have to meet the financial terms attached to the deal.
“I told you that if I am to organize a concert for you, I listen to the terms and conditions you have to fulfill. You have to give me 500 million,” Abtex said.
He clarified that the figure was not something he would simply accept without careful consideration, adding that both sides would first need to sit down and discuss the proposed arrangement before proceeding.
According to Abtex, promoters also have a reputation to protect. He warned that a poorly organized event could damage not only the artist involved but also the brand of the promoter behind it.
“You might organize a concert and the brand of the organizer or promoter gets defamed,” he noted.
