Ugandan singer Lilian Mbabazi has opened up about her approach to life, saying she chooses to focus on the things she has to be grateful for rather than dwelling on past disappointments.
Speaking during an interview on the Musical Mind Podcast, Mbabazi reflected on how she deals with things that have not gone as planned in her life.
She explained that she prefers to concentrate on what is going right, noting that constantly revisiting past setbacks does not change what has already happened.
“There’s so many things for me to be grateful for and I don’t usually love to focus on what went wrong in my life. I love to focus on what is going right,” Mbabazi said.
The singer added that the things that went wrong are already part of the past, which is why she sees little value in allowing them to take away from the present.
Her comments offer a glimpse into a mindset centred on gratitude, acceptance and moving forward.
