Musician Alien Skin has sparked debate after sharing his opinions on some of Uganda’s biggest music stars, questioning their individual influence and contributions to the industry.
During an interview, Alien Skin described King Saha as an artist inspired by the late Mowzey Radio, while referring to Pallaso and Weasel as artists whose identities are closely associated with their more prominent Brother Dr. Jose Chameleon.

He praised Eddy Kenzo as a superstar but argued that Bebe Cool has yet to fully establish himself at that level because of what he described as inconsistency.
Alien Skin reserved special recognition for Jose Chameleone, whom he described as a true star for his ability to elevate and support other artists.
His remarks have reignited debate about what defines a superstar in Uganda’s music industry, with questions about musical talent, consistency, influence and the ability to nurture other musicians.
