Ugandan music star Eddy Kenzo has sparked fresh speculation of a possible clash with fellow singer King Saha after promoting his latest release, Bimala Amaanyi, with a cryptic social media message that has caught fans’ attention.
The Grammy-nominated singer took to X (formerly Twitter) to announce the new song, but it was his choice of words that quickly became a talking point among music lovers.
“SIZANYA NA MBIZI KUNSIGA BISOTO. When you know who you are, you will know what to do. Check out my new tune Bimala Amanyi 🔥,” Kenzo posted.
Although he did not mention anyone by name, some fans have interpreted the message as an indirect shot at King Saha, with whom he has previously been linked to public discussions about competition and differences in Uganda’s music industry.
Is King Saha the Target ?
The timing of Kenzo’s remarks has fuelled the speculation, particularly among fans who believe the message could be connected to the perceived rivalry between the two musicians.
However, there is no direct confirmation that King Saha was the intended target. Kenzo has neither mentioned him in the post nor clarified who the message was directed at.
It is also possible that the statement was simply part of the promotional campaign for his new music.
A New Release Amid the Speculation
Beyond the online debate, Bimala Amaanyi gives Kenzo another opportunity to connect with his audience through new music.
The release has attracted attention not only because of the song itself but also because of the conversations surrounding its promotion.
Whether Kenzo was sending a coded message to King Saha or simply sharing a personal statement remains unclear. For now, fans will be waiting to see whether King Saha responds or lets the speculation pass.
