President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has arrived at the Kololo Independence Grounds to officiate the NRM Parliamentary Caucus meeting bringing together legislators from the ruling party.
Museveni, who serves as the NRM National Chairman, was received at the venue by Second Deputy Prime Minister Dr Crispus Kiyonga, members of the NRM Central Executive Committee and party officials led by Secretary General Richard Todwong.

The October 2 meeting provides a platform for NRM legislators to engage with the party leadership on parliamentary business, government programmes and other national matters. The NRM says its Parliamentary Caucus considers and adopts common positions on parliamentary business before matters are debated in the House.
The meeting comes as the new Parliament settles into its legislative work, with the party continuing to coordinate its parliamentary wing and discuss priorities for the new term.
