The Uganda Police Force has intensified road safety awareness and sensitisation campaigns across the Kampala Metropolitan Area as part of ongoing efforts to reduce road crashes.
The Directorate of Traffic and Road Safety is conducting the campaigns to promote discipline, sanity and responsible behaviour among all road users.

According to Police, the sensitisation drive is aimed at increasing public awareness about road safety and encouraging motorists, pedestrians and other road users to strictly comply with traffic rules and regulations.
The campaign is also targeting reckless behaviour and other practices that contribute to road crashes, with Police urging all road users to exercise greater caution while using the roads.
Police say the continued road safety awareness efforts are intended to contribute to safer roads and help reduce preventable crashes across the Kampala Metropolitan Area.
